71806 LLB - ABEC-5, Angular-Contact, Bottom Bracket Bearing - 30 x 12 x 7mm - Angular-Contact, ABEC-5, Bottom Bracket bearing featuring 52100 High-Carbon Chromium alloy races paired with grade 5 Balls with 90% fill, high-pressure, water-proof grease. When properly installed (black seal in for BBs) and adjusted, Enduro angular Contact (A/C) bearings engage all of the bearing's balls to spread the force over a larger surface area, minimizing wear and increasing bearing life. This is particularly important in applications like BBs, where there are constantly changing lateral loads on the bearings, which is typically the primary cause for premature bottom bracket bearing failure.
