Burgtec Oval Thick Thin Chainring — Race Face Cinch Direct Mount

Oval chainrings aren't new, but Burgtec's approach is properly dialled. After testing a heap of prototypes at varying ovality levels, they landed on 115° from top centre as the sweet spot — enough to shrink the dead spot and get you back into the power phase faster, without feeling weird underfoot. The result is a bigger effective gear on the downstroke (where the big muscle groups do the heavy lifting) and quicker crank speed through the bottom of the stroke. Thick Thin tooth profile keeps the chain locked on, and the whole thing is CNC machined from 7075 aluminium in Burgtec's full colour range. Size it the same as your current round ring and you're good to go.
